The main aim of this contest is to make as many comments as you can in two weeks! However, we don't want you to focus on quantity over quality, as each are as important as the other! Comments must be constructive and relevant to the piece you are commenting on. What do we mean by 'constructive' and 'relevant'?
By constructive, we would like to see comments that are useful to an artist in a way that they can improve. Don't just focus on the positive aspects or the negative aspects! Include both, expand on your reasons why aspects are effective or not effective, why and how, what the artist could do to improve, suggestions on how to do so, etc.
Comments should be relevant to the piece, in that there should be specific details. All comments should relate directly to the artist and their artwork.
Contest Begins: Saturday 4th February
Contest Ends: Saturday 18th February
Quality and quantity will be evaluated to determine the winner of this contest. It is in your best interest to make brilliant comments and to do so as much as you can!
Please mention that you are commenting on behalf of ProjectComment somewhere in your comment. This can be done in link form :devprojectcomment: (ProjectComment) or visual form :iconprojectcomment: (). OR you can use our emoticons by clicking on the "Add Media" button, typing ProjectComment and selecting the emoticon during commenting!
Once you have made your comments, please copy and paste the link to each comment in a reply to this article! We would suggest copying/pasting the links to a document until you have a batch, before posting one reply to the article with all of your comment links! FAQ #14: How do I create a link to a specific comment?
There are different points to be scored for the different kinds of art that you comment on:
Up to 15 points will be given to those who comment on one piece of literature. Therefore, if you comment on five pieces of literature, you could potentially get 75 points!
Up to 5 points will be given to those who comment on one piece of artwork. If you make a fantastic comment, you will get 5 points! Those who make little effort will get 1 point.
At the end, all of these points will be tallied up to determine the winner of this contest.
For you to win points, you must only comment on these works, and be the first person to do so! The contest isn't called "Comment Rush" for no reason! If someone comments first, after this article is posted, then they will get the points! If you comment second, you won't get any points.
Please note that only constructive comments are counted! If you are the first person to give a comment of 10 words, and a second person comes along to give a comment of 300 words, we know who is going to get those points!
Your chances of winning 5 points per comment is greater if your comment on any piece below is more than 300 words!
Waking Love DreamMy mind rocks and stirs at start,
Eyes with weights like iron doors reveal,
First blurry now coming clear as art,
As plucked from my dream hope shes real.
Tingles race to every limb almost ashake,
Nerve to nerve I hear them talk, Oh so soft,
Holding her tight, I dare not wake,
She is my one and only drug, holding me aloft.
Like two dinner spoons we are locked together,
Nose to neck I loan her my heat,
I spoil her just like Hawaiian weather,
Safe all wrapped in cover not very neat.
I feel, listen, and watch her sleep,
Happy I easily slide back into the deep.

with a moonface
innumerable speckles across her countenance
like tiny henna constellations
bountiful scars scattered about her skin
like a patchwork of trenches and craters
with flawed pulchritude
yet, like the moon with her damaged landscape
is still considered beauteous and comely
and so is she-
with the moon for her face
radiant and resplendent
(even though her aesthetics are atypical,
she is perfectly stunning to me)
M.A.X. Interception Renewed and centered from the the shower, Huruki took her shift as pilot. She stood over the life support and sensor console, checking to see that during her shower they had not lost anymore team members. A smile was the console's reward as it informed her there were eight Terran lifeforms onboard. Mixed feelings hit her there should have been nine. Eight was all that had returned to the ship. Now happy with the state of things Huruki sat down into the lead pilot's chair to monitor the transit to the drop off. Sitting on the bridge was more of a tradition than a requirement. The ship's virtual pilot could handle most everything, well minus heavy fighting. Without any signs of pursuit and knowing how well they masked their trail there was little worry of combat. However, the captain was a "by the book" man requiring someone on the bridge at all times, even if they were not a pilot. "At least they can act as a sentry." Tom would say. Huruki had to agree with him, for

A Metallic Disposition, An Enemy’s Redemption
A metal complexion. A scary proposition.
Made to be superior. All other desires ulterior.
A foil to good. Or maybe… just misunderstood.
Are his decisions by his choice or by design?
Could he be something more if given time?
Metal may never be clear of his past transgressions.
But the road to redemption requires just one’s compassion.
