Artists join deviantART to share their art and appreciate others. Due to the many artists out there, it’s easy to get towed under and generally obscured from the public.

Make a Difference aims to do exactly that. This series of articles will hopefully make a difference to you as well as the artists featured weekly. Just by giving one minute of your time to write constructive comments, favourites and even watches will make a difference to these artists.

:iconstarwid: is a brilliant photographer who captures the atmospheres of landscapes very well. He photographs a range of subjects so please check out his gallery for more, as this is only a very short excerpt.

I take pictures in my spare time and I enjoy it as a hobby. If those who look at the pictures want to know more about me, they can simply read my profile.

:iconsodomysexdoll: ~ I hope for people to see that poetry doesn't have to be serious, and can express who you are without being droll and stuffy.
sodomysexdoll is a profound poet whose poetry has fantastic structures and a great choice of words.

The rapacity of the girl"Outside the mortuary breast
a drill of ice
a crescent white,
the rapacity of the girl , encoding-
giving tonal depth
to the shadows grief..."

Th gosling in her boxTheres a gosling in her boxed drawer
pecking around her shell // lieing fetal beside it
blinking up at the midnight hour of dawning affection
Brown chords of music stream from the lungs
a honeyed freckled breath . The pure note of a helpless sigh .
Her gaze  at herself and the variant versions //
The sound of an unbroken awe and an adoration breaking -
on meloncholic eyes . An ocean in her eyes
almost broken.
'So long ago was it  // a breath // a memory ?
That airless love that cannot find itself expressed'
Those eyes speaking to themselves  / in a gaze that drifts down -
ward and over // like the softest exhalation .
I am this , this moment placed out on a streetcorner //
vulnerable
A gosling of what ? love // beauty ? Before a woman
the rapt gaze that disconnects and wonders .
An eye that see's itself clearly the moment it is such , the person that is
a gosling : then in an instant - someone else.
// Alone agion //
~ An extract from The gosling in her box
"I am this , this moment placed out on a streetcorner //
vulnerable

A gosling of what ? love // beauty ? Before a woman
the rapt gaze that disconnects and wonders ."

The liberal and the rock.I spoke to you , damn republican
in the shadow of celebration ,
I was  the liberal and the rock
the industrial tenor
Irrevocable obliteration , unconscious
allusions reconstruct .
'verge'
Voluptuous pretensions , integrated
silence : listen , authenticity , processioned
to an exquisite cosmic shudder ,
This unclothed skin , prodigal
cycle , of dimension imagery
Unfathomable to our conversation ,
the ambiquous flavor of the resonate
cleft , the analytical prong .
Silently , silence , in the silence listen
repose back to , digress illusory
thought , in it all
The climactic argument
shifts over the eyes of suggestiveness
and falls away into the dungeon
The ceramic strangers of contrivance
break on the sensibilitys of our love
sprawling , beneath the animals---
of our social awareness .
~ An extract from The liberal and the rock
"I spoke to you , damn republican
in the shadow of celebration ,
I was  the liberal and the rock
the industrial tenor"

Thought for the Week: 'It was the touch of the imperfect upon the would-be perfect that gave the sweetness, because it was that which gave the humanity.' ~ Thomas Hardy, Tess of the d'Urbervilles
