""Miss Moore," the voice whispered.
Swinging herself around, she looked hard at the chalkboard at the back of the room. Written on the board was what looked like children's handwriting. It spelled out, "Its yor falt." Now feeling nothing but raw fear, Miss Moore tried to run out of the classroom, but the door may as well have been painted on the wall. It refused to budge even in the slightest. She didn't try to shout for help, she was the only teacher here at this hour, and school didn't start for another two.

I don't know if "It refused to budge even in the slightest" is a personal thing or geographical grammar, but it doesn't work for me at all. I'd probably leave it at "It refused to budge even slightly". I also would reorganise the "She didn't try to shout for help, she was the only teacher here at this hour, and school didn't start for another two." sentence -- maybe "There was no point shouting for help, school didn't start for another two hours, and nobody else would be here this early".[...]"

"The only thing I can see is the subject, the person in the picture. Are you doing this picture from emotional feeling, or are you looking at a picture of someone sitting in that position naturally? (I'm guilty of this too so I'm not trying to be a hypocrite) If you were going for a realistic pose, I would highly suggest looking at multiple pictures of people sitting like that (google something like sitting at picnic or something etc and just check out the image tab hopefully you don't get naughty things >< ) and keeping that picture up while drawing so you can stop and double check "hey, does that leg really turn like that? is the color supposed to be light or dark over here when I color??"[...]"

"The artwork itself is pretty impressive. the lineart looks like it was drawing traditionally, but on closer inspection it's digital. It's appealing when some lines are thicker than the others: to me, that is an important factor to consider some details and impact in the picture. the colors are equally nice, though most is monochromatic that fit the background color, it is also nice to see non blue colors in the mermaid's acessories. For the background, i don't think it would make difference as if the backgorund were detailed, it could take away a bit of the attention of the mermaid, but if you'd like to give detail to the background, i'd suggest a gradient, a few bublles near her mouth and rippling shadows on her body. For The Untapped WorthyYou think you're useless,
a burnt-black saucepan.
You think you're nothing, now,
but we'll drill some holes
through the rust--
we'll plant tall strands
of sunflowers & vetch,
and watch them bloom.
9 Countenances for the Curious1.
My limbs have become instruments,
but, unlike the piano of your memories,
I am still not anyone's to play.
2.
I think I am finite,
that the limits of me are dictated
by flesh and numbers
on an inverted scale
but the dog on my lap
doesn't care what I weigh;
she wants only
to love me and be loved.
3.
the pain that anchors you
strains your back,
the ship of your life
is hamstrung upon a reef
and you think you are watching
a dolphin at play
but siren songs deceive you.
my ship sank beneath the waters
years ago, this bubble of life
sustains me even as i drown:
there are storms in the depths
of me, and you see only
the ocean's calm.
4.
At 7, I swallowed stories
like candy; didn't understand
that too much leaves you bloated.
At 17, I breakfasted on books
like pancakes; too caught up
to tell (some things should be special).
At 27, I feasted on fiction
like home-cooked meals; didn't know
some of it could poison you.
At 37, I hope I will be picking
at poetry; letting the flavours
of the words
disintegrationmy teeth are cracking:
i dream of enamel-kissed
spiders, their limbs trailing
the contours of my gums;
expanding holes
from nails, ungerminated
and rotten, desecrating
my digits; i dream
puddles of my own hair
choking drains,
the erosion of my flesh,
the disestablishment
of my organs;
my resolve, too,
dissolves.

Magic Week - Reverse Caption
The power flowed into him, filling his lungs, spreading out in his blood like oxygen, and settling into the marrow of his bones. He felt himself smile in a way that he hadn't since he was a boy learning to cast his first spell. He had devoted decades to the study of magic, but now, now he was magic. A glow lit the trees around him. He couldn't be sure if it was the setting sun, or if the glow came from his own skin. A beetle crawled on the ground nearby, seemingly unconcerned with what it had just witnessed, but yet its movements were in time with his heartbeat. A bird in the sky flapped its wings to the same rhythm. A breeze plucked at his hair and clothes. He began to dance, slowly at first; he followed the wind, and the wind followed him. He moved faster, twirling and leaping, until even the fallen leaves were dancing around him. When he stopped, all was still. He smiled again, and raised his arms to the sky. The first stars were visible. He watched them for a long
