"So, first of all, I love the hair. Well okay, to be fair, this piece is about the hair. :/ But it just looks great. My fave part of the hair it´s probably her bangs/side-bangs or whatever you call those, the shading and high-lighting just looks so realistic there, even though the hair colour you're working with is blue, which is not a very realistic hair colour to start with. The hair on the top of her head doesn't look that realistic anymore, probably because you can't see any individual strands of hair. But this is manga, so no worries on that... it's not supposed to be hyper-realistic. Far from it.
And that water/her pigtails. That water is just so gorgeous. I love the flow in it, and considering that water is a very hard thing to draw you did very well. And it's hard to find reference images with water floating around... Again, for manga, this is very realistic and looks neat. The lighting looks great there too. I'm not even sure if lighting's the right word... sorry not a native English speaker. The fish at the bottom-right corner that's kind of "trapped" in her hair was a nice touch.[...]"

"This piece seems to have been taken on a beautiful day at a wonderfully scenic location. I like the mountains, and the plants. Those are two great subjects for nice pictures.
However, I think there's a few things to remember for next time.
I think trying to recover some shadows in the plants would be good, or perhaps going the other direction and make them completely silhouetted.
I also think the framing is a bit off. The composition could be improved by moving so you're not looking down at the plants, and perhaps shooting some of the shorter ones so that they don't completely cover parts of the mountain. [...]"

"There are a few anatomy troubles going on here, though. The eye on our right (There's no way I'm going to try to figure out which side is her own left or right in this set-up) is too far away from the bridge of her nose. In general, you'll want about one eye's worth of space between each. But the angle of the head can offset that rule. In this case, since you seem to have her bone structure in mind, it might actually be safer to try to think of the distance between the skull's eye-holes and the nose, to try to remember the correct distance for each angle of the head. The bridge of the nose should be touching those eye-holes, and so the end of the eye should be closer to that bridge. Her head is also a little on the wide end, overall. Keeping in mind the same thing about eye-hole positioning, her cheekbones should be positioned higher up and more to our left, close or directly adjacent to them. Her jaw should maybe also curve up just a little bit sooner, but I think most of the width here is more of an illusion from the oddly positioned cheekbones, rather than anything else. I think part of the problem here is that you're giving her a more masculine skull shape. Here's a reference for a female one, on the right side: hippie.nu/~unicorn/tut/img/bas… [...]"

BioluminescentI thought you held lightning in your mind.
Your thoughts, that could dance across a shattered glass sky,
were, in the end, locked down in a clear jar.
Inside, you struggled to free yourself from your own thoughts.
You no longer spoke in one sixty mile per hour winds, instead
you ran from the growing storm inside of you.
Through the darkness, your light would still flash when you saw me.
Your heart still hummed in flight, even though you couldn't reach me.
I only realized, too late, that I was the storm and you
were the storm chaser
and I had left you destroyed in my wake.
After that, I realized only your lightning filled my dreams.

Magic Week - Reverse Caption
The power flowed into him, filling his lungs, spreading out in his blood like oxygen, and settling into the marrow of his bones. He felt himself smile in a way that he hadn't since he was a boy learning to cast his first spell. He had devoted decades to the study of magic, but now, now he was magic. A glow lit the trees around him. He couldn't be sure if it was the setting sun, or if the glow came from his own skin. A beetle crawled on the ground nearby, seemingly unconcerned with what it had just witnessed, but yet its movements were in time with his heartbeat. A bird in the sky flapped its wings to the same rhythm. A breeze plucked at his hair and clothes. He began to dance, slowly at first; he followed the wind, and the wind followed him. He moved faster, twirling and leaping, until even the fallen leaves were dancing around him. When he stopped, all was still. He smiled again, and raised his arms to the sky. The first stars were visible. He watched them for a long
