#SixWordStories: Monthly ShowcaseA type of Flash Fiction, six word stories are (very) short stories with an exact word count: six words. #SixWordStories is the place where, alongside quality, quantity really does matter. Though these stories are so brief in length, they can be as profound, if not more, than the prose and poetry you see and read every day, partly because six word stories can tell us so much and yet contain so little.
In our feature articles, we will be showcasing six word stories submitted to Freestyle folder.

Six Word Stories and Other Flash FictionNot much is known about the history of six word stories, a literary form that has only cropped up recently in the global literature community. What we do know is that the first and original six word story was written by novelist Ernest Hemingway, a six word story that many of you have already heard of:
"For sale: baby shoes, never used."
It was not until November 2006, inspired by Hemingway's efforts, that Larry Smith made a challenge to anyone online to describe their life in six words for Smith Magazine, effectively making a 'Six Word Memoir'. From just this spark, the form of the six word story grew in popularity and success, evident in the publication of many editions containing these stories by Smith. It has since been used as a tool to express oneself, carrying many implications from educational use to therapeutic use.

I bought a Canon S3 and began to shoot everything

I've forgotten, may have been google or some of my friends who told me about DA...
I'm here because I have many watchers, so more people will see photos. It's a good tool to promote art

What type of photography do you most like to do and why?
I like to do dark art, because... hm.. I like to show strange dark concepts, ideas & looks
