ProjectComment is a Group that provides Guaranteed & Constructive comments for the deviantART community.
In order to support those efforts, we encourage dedicated users to give comments too. For those who are critics, artists, or just helpful in the community, we now offer something in return for all that you do - be it helping the participants of ProjectComment, or the group itself!
This article focuses on awesome deviants, who have given fantastic comments, through excerpts of those comments, artwork by the deviants themselves, and much more! Your support in the article would be much appreciated.
Each month, ProjectComment will select one member from within the group to be our Spotlight, based on the comments we have seen in our gallery submissions! We choose this member based on the quality, and reliability of their comments and their dedication to the community.

"Interesting photo! I like the title you've chosen for it, it suits the photo very well!
It's a very busy photo, which works for your benefit in this case, I think. Since you're not focusing on one thing in particular, it's nice to have a lot of detail that will keep the viewer's attention. I feel like, with this photo, you noticed one thing and then your eye is drawn to the next, and the next, etc etc. Wonderful work there
I noticed that the photo is a bit blurry, however, and that limits the extent of detail we can see. Was this a handheld shot? If possible, try leaning against something or supporting yourself so you can be sure to get the sharpest photo possible
Or, try using a tripod or monopod if you have one available.[...]

"I kinda disagree with previous commenter. Anime is not an excuse for unnatural poses, and this look VERY strange. but still, I got the idea, and it's the most important, so I can say you did well. Second Street El stands under muted chrome lights, legs splayed apart and left hip cocked out like the jagged end of a lipstick smear. The soft undercurrent of voices drifts from the club crowd up to the stage, quiet murmured conversations below the chink of glasses and clicks of the mike stand slotting into place. If she listens close enough she can almost hear the bare echoes of a young man's laugh, a woman's soft tinkling sigh, the swell of a family's conversation.
"All ready," the man before her grunts around the toothpick hanging out the corner of his sun-cracked mouth. El reaches a hand over to tug at the length of color-faded silk knotted around her left wrist, stepping forward to take the place he vacates. The same hand rises to wrap around the cold silver shaft, glossed lips parting as she ghosts them towards the microphone.
The crowd has dropped in volume, calm falling over the haphazardly arranged three-legged stools and half-rickety tables. It's a quiet she's felt
Turn On The Dark:thumb332675258:
When fragile hopes and fears collide
It waits for you on the other side
I can feel the tremors in my soul
I've grown afraid of the masquerade.
Barely holding on, I'm losing control
Wide awake, I confide in the shade.
Sinking so slowly down the drain
Much like the purple pill I swallow.
A voice unheard is a voice in vain
Black rain falls and teardrops follow.
Shadows loom throughout the room
They cover my eyes like a veil.
Just flip the switch, it'll be over soon
Just pull the curtain over the pale.
The transition rattles my psyche at first
Yet it's a feeling I've always invited.
For when my body becomes submersed
I discover my world's benighted.
I wonder how much time has past
Fading deeper into the stark domain.
A place like this, shows no contrast
But it's a place I must ascertain.
I call this smoke-filled cell a prison
That harbors questions of fruition.
But like a zombie, I have risen
To greet the face of my mortician.
I'm taken with its abysmal skies
Now I reap the chilling silenc

Magic Week - Reverse Caption
The power flowed into him, filling his lungs, spreading out in his blood like oxygen, and settling into the marrow of his bones. He felt himself smile in a way that he hadn't since he was a boy learning to cast his first spell. He had devoted decades to the study of magic, but now, now he was magic. A glow lit the trees around him. He couldn't be sure if it was the setting sun, or if the glow came from his own skin. A beetle crawled on the ground nearby, seemingly unconcerned with what it had just witnessed, but yet its movements were in time with his heartbeat. A bird in the sky flapped its wings to the same rhythm. A breeze plucked at his hair and clothes. He began to dance, slowly at first; he followed the wind, and the wind followed him. He moved faster, twirling and leaping, until even the fallen leaves were dancing around him. When he stopped, all was still. He smiled again, and raised his arms to the sky. The first stars were visible. He watched them for a long
