Haunted  Your image is burned into my mind, I wake up in a cold sweat. Closing my eyes, repeating to myself that your gone.
  I'll never see your face again, a voice in my mind tells me otherwise. Somewhere there you are. Living in your house, with God knows who. Your wife, your children? Just like you told the police? Maybe you live alone, or maybe with your uncle who works with you? Watching television, going to work, waking up, going to sleep. Driving. Your somewhere in this world.

  I wonder why this is bothering me now, when it should have shaken me more a year ago. Maybe its not knowing, what the hell you wanted from me. I couldn't think of anything to say when the cops came. Shock? I don't know. They took forever to get here.
  Nonetheless, one cop was my neighbor, Mr. Bill. He interviewed me and wrote the report. Mr. Bill and his family lives behind me. I hardly see him but it was weird to see him in his uniform. I see his wife ev :thumb147033803: Lessons in the SnowI always forget how much I love to simply sit beside a window and watch the snow fall.  I suppose my name is appropriate for who I am and what I love most:  Frost.
She came to stand beside me, her green eyes looking through me into the swirling white of the world outside her warm refuge.  Her nose wrinkled as she sighed heavily.
"Will it ever stop snowing, Frost?" she groaned, her eyes still fixed upon the white.
I chuckled slightly as I gazed upon her.  "This is a snowstorm.  It will pass soon enough.  What do you have against the snow, anyway?"
She shook her head.  "It's annoying!  Poor dad's going to have to shovel like thirteen feet of snow tomorrow, and then driving's gonna suck!"
I sighed.  Somemtimes she annoys me as much as the blizzard outside annoyed her.  "You forget to live in the moment...FOR the moment," I scolded, my voice too stern.  She glared at me.
