Deviation Actions
Artists join deviantART to share their art and appreciate others. Due to the many artists out there, it’s easy to get towed under and generally obscured from the public.
Make a Difference aims to do exactly that. This series of articles will hopefully make a difference to you as well as the artists featured weekly. Just by giving one minute of your time to write constructive comments, favourites and even watches will make a difference to these artists.

~ If one person likes my poem, that means the world to me.
xHigherxNowx is a fantastic person who really pours her soul into her poignant literature pieces.
I will work for hours on a single poem, trying to get even a single line down. In my poems, I aim to let people see the world as I do, even change it, but that would be a long shot for me. But, I do anything to let my soul out, to give hints about the hardships I faced, the things I've seen others go through, and try to get people to just feel deep about my poems.

"The streets are paved with plastic and the houses are painted gold,
with shingles made of tin.
People dance and play games
with holocausts and sin"

"But as I watch the from my rooftop view, I wonder if we will ever find the truth; to grow out of this shallowness and our masks made of smiles, and into the dreams we’ve had for such a long while. But we are puppets without strings, so we will never be free"

"Sunflowers hanging low on their ends in sunlit fields
and in your hand as you surprise me again
Bright crayons in little children's hands
and you coloring my heart once more."

Magic Week - Reverse Caption
The power flowed into him, filling his lungs, spreading out in his blood like oxygen, and settling into the marrow of his bones. He felt himself smile in a way that he hadn't since he was a boy learning to cast his first spell. He had devoted decades to the study of magic, but now, now he was magic. A glow lit the trees around him. He couldn't be sure if it was the setting sun, or if the glow came from his own skin. A beetle crawled on the ground nearby, seemingly unconcerned with what it had just witnessed, but yet its movements were in time with his heartbeat. A bird in the sky flapped its wings to the same rhythm. A breeze plucked at his hair and clothes. He began to dance, slowly at first; he followed the wind, and the wind followed him.
