Engaged

"True love is when you don't want to sleep at night because real life is so much better than a dream."

I don't know where that quote comes from; I found it one day and saved it in a document years back. I did find Dr. Seuss' "You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." which is similar enough to suggest that the former comes from the latter, in a sense.

Either way, I have fallen in love with Kamal-Q and we are now engaged to be married.    

It's a bit funny because, before Kamal-Q, I didn't think I could love anybody or that anybody could love me... and I accepted that. I made my peace with it. However, I didn't take into account that friendship could build into love and, after three years worth (and more) of conversing on deviantART, and meeting after stating our love for each other, we decided to tie the knot (sort of), or rather, it was natural to be engaged, to bind our hearts, our lives, together, forever.

It's difficult to say any more. Love can't really be expressed in words... or anything, even. Or maybe that is just me. I just know that I want to share the rest of my life with him, that it really hurts when we're apart, and that I'd forsake everything to be with him. Even deviantART (and that's saying something).

He is my other half, my fiancé, and I can't help feeling that I am the luckiest woman.
