We hosted our first, weekly Challenge Fun in the Deviants Forum this past week for the chance to win a 3 Month Premium Membership or the equivalent in :points:!

The challenge was to provide the best reason for the song, 'For He's a Jolly Good Fellow'! We had many awesome renditions of the song itself as well as some fantastic reasons, some of which are displayed below!

deVere's version:
:sing: "For he's a bloody good Fella,
For he's a bloody good Fella,
For he's a bloody good Fella,
The mascot of dA"

~ Sung every time you log onto dA!

ARTificialphanTOM's version:
:sing: "There's something I have to tell ya
I'm glad I don't have to smell ya
There's something I have to tell ya
Now give a stupid reply"

~ Sung as the new forum anthem!

GlowingSpaceMonkeys's version:
:sing: "Welcome, artist to the forums! :sing:
We promise you won't die of boredom! :sing:
Get to know everyone, you'll adore 'em...! :sing:
And thank-you for stopping by!"

~ Sung for anyone new to the forums!

ShuQxx's reason: "I think ..when the groom of the wedding unexpectedly finds out his best man is planning to propose/get married but decided not to tell him yet so that the bestman can help the groom through whatever, and so the groom could focus on the wedding and also so that the spotlight/attn stays on the groom, then the groom makes some sort of toast and initiates the song."

Kaotic-Cass's reason: "When someone moves to a new country, marry the king/queen/ruling party to gain access to the money and castle, become the ruler of that country and make it where everyone gets cake for breakfast everyday. The people will sing For He's A Jolly Good Fellow. They will be DELIGHTED at this significantly amazing event!"

After some awesome responses, the winner is... Self-Epidemic who wrote a lovely reason:

It was a warm, wet summers evening, the bugs that were chirpiner earlier had been hushed by the rains that were mustered by the hot air of that day, over some rolling hills lay a little wooden hatched house. Fitted with white walls and black strong beams, supporting its old exterior bravely.

As the window comes into view, it was easy to find a collection of people, all happily cheering. Lots of banter filled the silence left by the bugs that evening. Drinks were held in the air, parents were giggling at their young toddlers red faced and drifting of to sleep, in what seems an impossible task they accomplish with ease.

Then the room lay in a hush, a happy hush that carried whispers and giggles, rosy cheeks and full faced smiles. A man, stumbling up to the stage in the far end of the room holds his drink up to the people and laughs. "T'me best friend, Tom. For finally finding some daft cow to love him! Whatever reason that maybe!" The crowd laughs, the bride giggles, head down in embarrassment and the new husband, grabbed her shoulders with warmth, giving her a little tug and a kiss on her cheek!

The best friend ushers him to the stage, with a sigh that held the "I'm only doing this because I have to!" tone, he walked up to the stage and laughed. However, before he could get a word in edgeways, his best friend had started singing

"Foooooooor" He quickly ushered the family and friends to join in. "..Hes a jolly good fellow,
fooor hes a jolly good felloooow!"

"That no one else can deny!"

The room broke out with a roar with the little toddlers jumping up to their feet in excitement to quickly join in the festivities of that happy, warm evening.

Congratulations Self-Epidemic!
