So... long time no see. ^^;

Must have been half a year since I last posted something. I haven't really taken any new photographs, so this one is a bit old. It was taken in London Zoo when I was with ~Roweidekhalicon, the same place I took Thrust.

Not much to say about this one, other than it's damn hard trying to crop it into a balanced square when parts are leaning in different directions. :P

Anyway, I hope you guys like it. Hopefully this one will be the first of many to come. :dummy:

Great shot, looks so natural. I have the Japanese version of the Canon t2i rebel, is yours newer than that, or simply better specced? Yours seems to take very good pictures. I've only got two lenses, though. One came with it, the other I bought which was for extra range, so not sure if I just need a better lens. :dummy:

Hmm..

Mine is older, I think. The Canon T2i would be the 550D, right?

Mine is the 40D, which is obsolete now. I think there is a 60D out there already.

But 40D is slightly higher than 550D on the scale of 'professionalism', so a bit better specced, yes. :P

The lens can very much influence the shot. What lenses do you have?

Yeah, 550D it is.

The longer range is EF-S IS, 55-250mm. This seems to make pictures look a bit cloudy at times.

The one I got with it which seems to do better with quality is EF-S IS 18-55mm.

I got the additional one from eBay quite a while back now, though it was below £100 if I remember, so not sure if it was best for quality in the first place.

Ah, I see. :nod:

How do you mean cloudy? =/

That's a good range. :nod:

You should look at the f stop number for the quality, I think. :hmm:

The best lenses are quite expensive.. 50mm 1.8 being the exception. :P

Some pictures look as though I've taken them in fog with it, it's less noticeable in really good or strong lighting, but still can see it.

I still have very little idea of what most photography things mean, despite being in to it more seriously the past few years. :| I'll have to start looking it up more.

Yeah, damn those money grabbers, damn them! :shakefist:

Hmm... :hmm:

That could be because of the way the lens is built, I guess.. that's why you should judge a lens by the f stop, like. The lower the number, the better it is.

:hug:

Photography is an expensive hobby. ^^;

It is, sadly. I'll look in to what I can get that is better than the current in future.

He. Is. So. Cute.
Please. Send him to me. o_o I want him.
It's always interesting to see animals like that and wonder what their thinking. I often wonder what new way my cat is thinking of killing me. I usually lean towards it's something instinctual. Christmas break I saw a doe, she wasn't even ten feet from me. Didn't seem scared but she was watching me.
She might have been thinking of killing me too. :/

:lol:

If only! :D

I do agree with you there. :nod:

I wouldn't mind knowing what any animal is thinking, really.
