4pm 59 minutes 42 seconds He placed his feet to the brink of the building, making sure they didn’t go over, not even one millimetre.

One. Two. Three.

Straightening up, he surveyed the world before him, feeling an immense pressure building inside.

Four. Five. Six.

Cars tooted their horns below, as general chaos issued when there was congestion. Crouching, he made sure his body didn’t go forward. Moving his head a couple of centimetres, he peeped over the precipice of the mountainous building.

Seven. Eight. Nine.

Retracting slowly, as if he was a turtle, he slowly stood up again with precise accuracy. The wind howled and rain threatened to lash its fury,

...I'm really not comfortable with posting deviations at this time, but I just got back from work and today is the 30th September (significance of that is posted below).

Anyway, this was taken in Camden Market with *Livelife92, her friend and my sister. I had a really, really awesome time and I suggest that you go to *Livelife92's profile because it is full of awesome, and she is full of awesome too.

The significance is that... if you don't know already, I am a bit (ha) fixated on freedom. Posting an image of a bird at the end of this month is sort of a marking of a milestone because this September, in particular, is a milestone.

I was getting my food at the Market and I noticed a bird far out... but it was too far. Luckily, *Livelife92 pointed out this one, which was much, much closer, though I apologise for how dodgy it is as well (in composition and other areas). Birds are flighty.

It's wonderful how you take a scrappy little starling, one of the most common birds roundabouts, and turn it into something so fascinating...lovely focus on that beady black eye and the iridescent hues are captured so beautifully.
