~ Be careful of the pretty things, lest they ensnare you.

I haven't posted anything photographic in a long, long time, so I apologise about that. I haven't really been feeling it lately, even though I have thousands of photos saved.

A special thanks to =Krzik who directed me on this path to take a macro shot and upload it. It's a very recent photograph, which is an added bonus for you guys because I usually take aeons to upload a piece. xD

If any of you could suggest any more ideas on what I could post (APN, architecture, abstract/surreal, etc.), it would be much appreciated! :D

As for the photo... I found something, and shot it for all it was worth. Nothing much more to say to that. :P

Lovely work! The brown thing reminds me of a snowflake.^^ But what I like best, is that one can interpret it to be all sorts of things.

yes. yes i will ensnare you. hahah.

i cant decide if it's a leaf skeleton, or feathers and lace. though tbh, it'll probably be neither, knowing your work, :P

it does remind me of a clockwork butterfly resting on snow or something, i love the wintery feel and the slightly off-centre nature of the piece. really lovely and quiet :)

What a beautiful picture. Is is a leaf? It really looks like a butterfly, or only the skelleton of it. A picture of a skeletonized butterfly, that's really powerful. How fragile life is...somehow a really poetic picture.

It's part of a leaf and feather combination, like.

Thank you very much!

The idea really fleshed itself out when it came to me so I just had to shoot it and make it a reality. :la:

Wow!~ I love the piece!~ Beautiful capture of something so interesting.

Reminds me of as leaf or a moth/butterfly's wings for some reason.

I love the colors and the temperature of the piece. Your art always has really interesting and deep meaning.

Love that aboutchu!~ :glomp:

This made me want to write the first time I saw it, but I didn't know where to start. Today it took shape - the barest of outlines, but it's getting somewhere.

I just wanted to let you know that this piece inspired me.

Hmm, am I right in thinking it's the 'bones' of a leaf, on a feather? :B

It's a great capture, it looks so delicate.
The way it has reflected (Is that what has happened there?) is interesting, the different angles you can sort of see.
Very lovely.

This is beautiful! I love the frosty sort of fragility and I definitely see the black part as a butterfly. It looks like some feathers and lace, to me. :O_o:

I always love your abstract/surreal photos, so you could do more of those! Some APN would be nice too though. :eager:

It makes me think of a decaying butterfly in a spiderweb. And I love that quote; what's it from?
